Thomas Hill, born 10 Oct 1827, Carrollton, Green Co., Illinois. He enlisted into Co. I, 7th Illinois Volunteer Infantry Regiment on 22 Dec 1863 and was discharged 9 Jul 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky, having served his term. After his discharge he married Mary Elizabeth Miller on 12 Apr 1866 in Sangamon Co., Illinois, and they had seven children. Thomas died 1 Jan 1892 and is buried in the Brunk Cemetery, Sangamon Co., Illinois.
